Wakr’s math mission keeps the alarm ringing until you answer five problems correctly. There is no snooze button, no camera, and it works in the dark.
Five correct answers, then the alarm stops.
When the alarm rings, Wakr shows one arithmetic problem and a number pad. Each correct answer counts toward five. A wrong answer does not count, and it also replaces the question with a new one, so you cannot guess your way through a single problem while half asleep.
There is no timer. The count is the only bar, so you can take as long as you need, but the alarm keeps ringing until the fifth correct answer. The mission needs no camera and no permission of any kind, which makes it one of three Wakr missions that work in a completely dark room.
Hard enough to need attention, easy enough without paper.
Every answer is a positive whole number, so the keypad needs no minus sign and no decimal point.
Addition
Two numbers between 11 and 99, such as 47 + 38. Many problems involve carrying a digit, exactly the kind of step a sleeping brain gets wrong.
Subtraction
A number up to 99 minus a smaller one, such as 83 − 29. The result is always at least 10, so there are no trivial answers.
Multiplication
Times tables from 3 to 12, such as 7 × 12. Quick if you are awake, surprisingly slow if you are not.
A math alarm wakes your brain, not your legs.
Best for. People whose grogginess is mental rather than physical. Five correct answers need a working brain, and it runs in the dark with no camera or sensor.
Worth knowing. It can be finished lying down. Pair it with a movement mission in a Pro routine if climbing back into bed is your real problem.
