Carry the phone
Steps cannot be counted reliably if the phone stays on a bedside table while you move around the room.
Walk 100 Steps is Wakr’s default wake-up mission, turning your first steps of the day into a measured target using the sensors already in your phone.
Walk 100 Steps is the mission Wakr pre-selects during setup, and it is the one most people keep on the Free plan — which runs a single mission of your choosing. The counter begins when you start the mission, so steps from earlier in the day do not count. Carry the phone with you and keep walking until the progress reaches 100.
The mission is camera-free. Wakr reads the hardware step counter, falling back to the raw accelerometer, and keeps the progress on your device. Sensor availability and counting behavior can vary by phone.
Start Walk 100 Steps from the Wakr alarm screen.
Only movement recorded after the mission begins contributes to the target.
Keep the phone with you so its motion sensor can detect step changes.
The mission completes when the on-device counter reaches 100, and only then does the alarm stop.
Steps cannot be counted reliably if the phone stays on a bedside table while you move around the room.
Enable Motion & Fitness or Physical Activity permission in system settings when your platform requests it.
Very small movements or unsupported sensors may not register consistently. Follow the in-mission guidance and retry.
Wakr uses the motion signal for mission progress and does not need a camera for Walk 100 Steps.
